Workplace & Real-World Experience
Keshia began her career as a licensed cosmetologist through vocational training, then became a Journeyman Cashier and Supervisor in grocery retail — all while earning her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education.
Chapter 03
15 Years in the Classroom & Leadership
She taught middle school math in Fresno Unified, served as Director of Careers Programs, and worked as Vice Principal. She returned to the classroom by choice, to stay grounded with students.
Chapter 04
Faith & Service
More than 25 years in the Homeless Ministry with the Women's Missionary Union — continuing the legacy of her grandmother Jimmie Echols — and Assistant Director of Children's Church at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.
Chapter 05
Family First
Mother of three (Lechet, C.J., and Jacob) and grandmother to Robert Jr. She married into a proud local family — son-in-law Robert Golden is an Edison High graduate and former NFL player.
